James G. Moose (Jim) is an environmental attorney with the Sacramento firm of Remy Moose Manley, LLP, where his practice focuses on compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and other environmental laws. He represents both public and private clients both in litigation and during local, regional, and state administrative processes. He has participated in a number of lawsuits that have resulted in published, precedent-setting California Supreme Court and Court of Appeal decisions. He frequently lectures on CEQA to various audiences, and is a co-author of the Guide to the California Environmental Quality Act, published since 1987 by Solano Press Books. Jim has been an SCI board member since 2008. His wife, Kirstie Wilson, is a past SCI Volunteer of the Year.
