The Solar Cooking Convention 2014, sponsored by Solar Cookers International with support from Agua Fund, Inc., and the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, encourages global participation by solar cooking project directors, promoters, designers, researchers, and manufacturers with experience in the transfer of solar cooking technologies.

Format: Presentations, panel discussions, working groups, public demonstration of solar cookers

Convention Outcomes: Information exchange, establishment of global goals for solar cooking, creation of working groups

Friday, July 18, 8 am - 8 pm California Automobile Museum  2200 Front Street, Sacramento

Saturday, July 19, 10 am - 3 pm Sacramento Solar Cooking Festival, open to the public. William Land Park (corner of Sutterville Road and Freeport Boulevard), Sacramento

Full schedule will be available July 1.

The festival will be an opportunity for additional networking and demonstration of solar cooker designs. Solar Chef Registration is required for the Festival; there is no cost to participate.

Call for Papers

Abstracts for papers, presentations and panels are now being accepted in electronic format. Please submit papers to Julie Greene, julie.greene@solarcookers.org.
